I was saddened to hear that Desmond Tutu has died, aged 90. I never met him because he left Kings in 1966, a year before I became an undergraduate. However, we both studied New Testament Theology under Prof Chris Evans, pictured right, who became a life long friend of Tutu and who only died, himself, in 2012, aged 102. I am proud to think that I sat in the same chair in tutorials and that yet another Kingsman gave so much to the world.
